The Government of West Bengal has restructured the erstwhile WBSEB into two successor entities, namely West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) and West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL), under the ownership of the State Government. The two Companies started functioning from April 1, 2007.

Jr. Executive (Finance): 30 Posts
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline plus Inter CA / ICWA.
Office Executive: 490 Posts
Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate Or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS level and Must have passed certificate course / any other courses on computer from the Institute indicates in the notifications:
Important Dates:
Last date for online registration : 10/10/2013
Last date for accepting registration slips, Challan for payment with required documents by post: 21/10/2013
Downloading of Admit Card for written examination : 5/11/2013
Date of written examination: 17/11/2013
Age Limit (As on 01/01/2013): 27 years
Fee:
Rs. 400/- for the post of Jr. Executive (Finance) and Rs. 250/- for the post of Office executive.
Selection Process :
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test,, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview. Candidates called for Written Test/Computer Test/Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of any travelling expenses.
How to Apply:
Candidates have to apply through online registration .Online submission of the applications will be allowed on 18/09/2013 to 10/10/2013. After applying online,candidates are required to print the system generated Registration Slip with unique Application No. The original registration Slip with required WBSEDCL’’s Copy of CHALLAN and all credentials should be attested by Gazetted Officer and superscripting at the top of the envelop post applied for has to be sent by post at the Post Bag No 781,Circus Avenue Post Office,Kolkata-700017 so as to reach latest by 21/10/2013.
