Job Description - Application Support Analyst
Description: This is an Application Support Analyst position. The individual will be working in JMPChase Mortgage Banking Technology applications. Responsibilities include maintaining multiple applications. This position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team.
Major Responsibilities
Performing direct support of applications within the Mortgage Banking Technology space
Creating and executing SQL queries to diagnose problems and provide resolution
Working with end users to determine root cause of production issues
Participating in disaster recovery events
Partnering with peers and collaborating with other technical leaders in the firm, within and outside of MBTI
Align team goals with those of Mortgage Banking IT & Business.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering results
Experience working within large technology environments and supporting applications preferred
Technology Skill Set
Oracle
.NET experience a plus
